The Section Landscape Architecture focuses on knowledge acquisition, strategy making and exploration of the spatial design of landscape compositions and systems in the built environment. Through fundamental research and practical applications scholars in landscape architecture explore the potential of spatial, temporal and material dimensions of landscape – including ecological, social, and technical aspects – advancing action and thinking on the development of (urban) landscapes at multiple scales. The Section is responsible for its own master track and is involved in the Faculty’s bachelor programme and other (post-)master tracks.
The Landscape Architecture TU Delft blog is to be refreshed on a regular basis in the calm and distinguished tempo of the landscape itself. The blog will be used to coin new ideas, give sneak previews of PhD researches, publish remarkable photographs, share observations, ask questions, make a note on objets trouvés on Landscape and Landscape Architecture in the broadest sense.
We are delighted to share ideas with you, and even happier if you share our ideas with others, but please link to the original item on this site if you do so.
